As the flooring market continues to undergo changes, Johnson Floor & Home offers so much more than just carpet and takes pride in treating every customer like family.

In the 1970s, Paul Johnson was a college student working towards his dream and funding his studies by working at a furniture store in his North Carolina hometown. Accepting a position for the local Armstrong flooring distributor upon graduation, Paul knew then that carpeting would be his ultimate career focus. After working for various carpeting managers throughout the 1990s, he’d work his way up to regional Vice President for Mohawk Industries within a decade. By 1998, Paul and his wife, Ronda, knew they needed a change of pace. Wishing to plant permanent roots, the young couple settled down in Tulsa to raise their family, purchasing a single Carpet One store and an outlet store in 1998. Business gained steady momentum with Paul at the helm, and by 2012, the Johnsons had opened four stores around greater Tulsa.

In 2014, the Johnsons’ two adult children, Palmer and Christina, joined the business and today, the Johnson twins are each Vice Presidents and company shareholders.
